Brief Description
Adi Kailash, also called Chotta Kailash and one of the Panch Kailash, mirrors the renowned Mt. Kailash in Tibet. Situated near the Indo-Tibetan border within Indian territory, it offers striking natural beauty and tranquility. Amid urban fatigue, it provides a serene sanctuary for introspection.
At its base lies Gauri Kund, reflecting the mountain’s grandeur, while nearby Parvati Sarovar, akin to ‘Mansarovar,’ boasts a temple for Shiva and Parvati. Stepping into this domain evokes a divine connection.
Nestled in Nabidhang along the Kali River’s course, OM Parvat stands as a miraculous spectacle. The snow-crafted eternal “Aum” symbolizes the primal sound, eternally etched on the mountain, invoking Lord Shiva.
The Adi Kailash and Om Parvat Yatra unveil mountains, rivers, and peaks, blending with the sky, along with meadows and glaciers for adventure enthusiasts. The Uttarakhand stretch of the Himalayas uniquely attracts seekers of spiritual awakening, a tradition rooted since human history’s inception.
